The Opening Ceremony – Palace of Culture, Tîrgu Mureș

The Palace of Culture is situated in the city center and is one of the most beautiful buildings in Tîrgu Mureș with its floral “Art Nouveau” architectural style.

The music hall, designed as a concert room was endowed with a pipe organ built in 1914. Here were held regional conferences and meetings with large numbers of participants but it is also the place where Targu Mures Philharmonic concerts with conductors and soloists from both home and abroad take place.

By opening the Marisiensis Congress at the Palace of Culture, we want to offer you a glimpse of our beautiful city together with a programme filled with surprises.

Post Congress Trip- Sovata-
“The Pearl of Transylvania”

This year, the Closing ceremony isn’t actually `closing` the event. The ceremony will preceed a fabulous trip to the Praid Salt Mine. Inside marvelous carvings in salt, our coleagues will hold „personal developement” trainings (public speaking, time management, team building etc).  The only cost that participants have to pay for the trip is the transport and entry fee which we aproximate to be 30 RON (7 Euros). After visiting the attractions we’ll have a group lunch for us to know each other. The lunch will end our beautiful trip and we will return to Tg. Mures.

Transylvania - the best kept secret of Europe - is rich in popular art, tradition, friendly people who receive with warm welcome their guests; in myth and legend. The villages are similar to those of the fairy tales, real symbols of heavenly peace, which remind us of past ages; historical, medieval cities are uniting the culture of three civilizations: Romanian, Hungarian and Sachs.

Sovata owes its excellent reputation to the picturesque salt lakes that have formed in the course of history; among these the helio-thermal Bear Lake is indisputably the most popular one.

The Praid area, located in the heart of Transylvania, became one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Romania, due to existing natural potential, ideal for treatment and recreation. The main attraction of the area is the Salt Mine whose background date back to the beginning of the Roman period and which proved in time to be a source of health care for countless children and adults with serious respiratory problems.
